Also known as balls on a string. I know, I know, mind blowing.
The thing is that this week Collin decided he can wipe his own behind & buckle his own seat belt. Can we have a moment of silence, please.
Thanks, it is a big deal for me. Also, it has left me with heaps of time on my hands. So I tried a craft I spied like 2 years ago here.

All the boys gathered around while I strung these felt balls I found at Hobby Hobby onto some thread. They were thoroughly impressed, which shows how much craftiness has NOT been happening. But I got some serious excitement out of them so that pushed me on to do more easy projects wherein your kids think you are a wizard. And hey, it beats wiping 5 year old butts.

Yay Collin!!! And congrats to you, mama! I'm looking forward to other easy/fun/time filling crafts that make their way into your hands!
ReplyDeleteLiz was at my house today, and I told her- "I just need Aubrey to come decorate." She replied- "No kidding." We are pretty much both in love with your style...even if you did wear a white cardigan with a slicked back pony. Wink-Wink.
Well thanks ever so much, gals! Yes, I will happily come decorate if you swear to never speak of the white cardi again ;)
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to do a frame college for SO LONG, now I finally have my own idea's for how it will look(that will hopefully help blend the log furniture) that I needed to spur this project on! Yours are very unique and stir up that creativity that is buried deep in me:)The felt ball idea sure adds a pop of color!! GREAT job!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole! Glad I could get you motivated, do it! And post pics when you do!!!!
