crash

It hit. The aloneness of this journey. It found me.

Not that I expected sunshine & giggles but we were seizing the day, you know? And I am finding that those anthems, CHOOSE JOY or LOVE WINS, ring truer in these times. They will be the song of our summer. That life is what you make it, enthusiasm is a divine possession, & hakuna matata. We will cling to precious words of encouragement  because they are so desperately needed, not easily cast off as they sometimes are.

Thank you again for reading this journal and on occasion, responding to it. It means so much to me & now more than ever.

  1. I love these words. I have moved from Idaho to Baltimore and then to Denver...moving can and will be lonely at times...but I have grown up more than ever and have learned about who I am as a person. I dont think I would have accomplished those things if I didnt have to move out of my comfort zone.

  5. I don't think you would be human if you didn't have a low moment or two in the midst of all you've got going on! You would make the rest of us feel badly too...love you all, and love reading about your adventures.

  6. I'm all caught up...finally. A trip to SF and then camping left me completely behind on your blog and this latest post was so unexpected...I love the honesty you speak of and how it can be lonely- even when everything is crazy busy, exciting, adventurous and such.

It looks like you're having a blast- things are coming together...the house is freaking adorable (especially the suitcases stacked with the mirror on top) and the pink bush is cheery.

Now, go smile and enjoy the awesome experiences you are receiving and providing for your children! Lucky them!!!
