Awhile back I wrote about some things I would like to change in me. In that same spirit, to write more. Just put it out there, my words & no smiling boys to charm you into liking the real me more. I thought I would write about something I think I have right.
I like pink. Like, a lot. It is this 4 year old little girl inside that, thanks to Anna & Erin, burst outta me in 10th grade after a decade of repression. I am right on this one. Maybe if you are male, it is something different for you but I am a girl & we like pink.
Isn't that how it goes with girls? From the start they are the perfect shade of pink & they smell of pink things like roses & they look, so good in pink.
So here's to your Valentine's Day 2011, I hope it is very pink.

Ha ha I'm wearing all black today, but its a cute skirt, and a tee with the word love on it. I am also wearing some sassy pink lip gloss and my ever so cute pink hello kitty bracelet. Tomas said I look very girly today.
ReplyDeleteA bonus my re-do cake is PINK PINK PINK. I find when I am shopping I gravitate to only the pink items first! I love all things pink as well especially in a house full of boy's!!!
Happy Heart day I will try and find you later today.
Pink will always remind me of Anna :) Mariah and I chose pink over red today too!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a child and young adult, I never felt safe being feminine inside or out. As God heals and transforms me, the natural feminine GIRL comes alive! So in all that to say, I feel that sense I hated even the thought of pink and now can love pink, I am convinced that it is a part of what God intended for US(women)!!
ReplyDeleteAubrey, I love how you embrace womanhood and not just the pink, but desiring to be a healthy daughter to God, a loving wife and mother and you are even feminine in the way you tute!!!
Ha! I love it! Girls & their pink.
ReplyDeleteMarcela: you looked AWESOME.
Jami: Good times, I wish I could go back for a day, just a day though;)
Nicole: yes, the only girl in this house of boy but I am learning to keep up with all their testosterone!
