More from the 2C

Nampa's very own Rocky Balboa.

Neighbor's cool truck.

3 boys, desperately wishing for Spring.

A wee one, freshly bathed & hair slicked. I think I love them more when they're clean.

I love my job.

Looking Up

Remember these school pics taken early in the year? Well the second round is in and they are significantly better.

Well...so close anyway.

Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner!

Thanks to everyone who participated in my feedback giveaway. Yes, I am delighted with the comments I received. There could never be too much feedback!

I feel like there is a vulnerability in blogging. Little pieces of our family out there in cyberspace to be perused &, hopefully, enjoyed & connected with. Some blog days, I feel blind, not knowing who is reading & how what I am saying is settling with them. All that to say, I relish your feedback!

On with the show. The winner, pulled out of a hat by the handsome Mr. Aden Archuleta is...

Starnes fam!

Ironically, I probably owe Staci $50. She is the one who introduced me to couponing, I know I have saved way more than that. Thanks Staci! I will mail your Visa gift card pronto.

Here it is...

My very first giveaway!

Any of you who read this, know the name of the game for me is FEEDBACK. Love me some feedback! So, that is it. Leave me a comment with some feedback & you will be entered to win a $50 Visa gift card. Sweet, right? That is how much I treasure my feedback.

You have until Wed., March 10th to enter. Good luck my dear blog community!

McCall Getaway

This is just to show why I desired said getaway.

Gorgeous. Fawn's cabin sits near Cascade Lake, thanks for sharing Fawn!

Karen, Andrea, & Lynne dining at Lardo's. (Lardo's = ewww...)

So excited about my sequin dress!

Andrea & I with Yacht Club sailor man. Andrea taught me to knit at the cabin! I'm becoming a regular Martha Stewart.

Matt was making this face because it was Girl's Weekend & he got to join us.

All the girls love his mad Michael Jackson dance moves.

Too short, but a good time with the friends we have made through the boy's school. Some great things happen inside a person when you get outta town & head for the hills!

Here's the Dealio...

Matt loves the Bears. He used his B-day bucks to buy himself this gem:

This was us, happily gorging at The Green Chile for Matt's birthday, & before Lent started.

But mostly Matt was jazzed about his hat.

And sadly, my gift could not compare.

February Haps

This is our Christmas tree...present day! What nuclear farm did this grow on? So fresh still & we got the tree for $20! I think that is the least amount we have ever paid for a Christas tree.

I entered this photo of Aden into the Vineyard Boise's art exihibit, Abundant Joy, and it got in! So validating for me. It will hang in their Art Gallery until April.

Miss Anderson & Aden. She was Aden's student teacher for the first half of the school year. Aden really bonded with her. I thank the Lord daily that Aden has had such a postitve Kindergarten experience.

I know spring is almost here because many friends have just had their babies. I am longing for that season again. This pic is Matt & I, just weeks before Parker made his entrance. What a crazy mix of hope-filled dreams & sleepless nights. Pregnancy face is not good look for me though.

Well, that's it, a pretty slow time for us. I am ready for the green grass & spring flowers again. I think we will continue hibernating until then.

That's right, this will be Matt's last year in his twenties. He has promised to live it up.

Happy Birthday My Love!

Giddy

Almost Valentine's Day & I am feeling it! Between pink & red goodies & Matt's birthday on the 15th, my inner Martha has been in full swing. Here are some of the Happy Heart Day treats I've put together.

Also, Parker's hair, straight out of the very grown up salon I took him to. Stylish, I think. He was mostly jazzed about the complimentary Pepsi part of the ordeal.
