Lovin this

image found here

Oh that my boys would grow in this unity. And! That it would stem from a love seen in their parents for one another. In the meantime...

I present to you our family according to Collin:
"Dad," "Aubrey," "Parker James," "Dub," "A-nin," & "Jake-Jake" ( any animal is a "Jake-Jake")

I guess that is all to be expected from the one we deemed "Cojo," from before birth. I know it is odd but, IT IS NOT "Kujo," the demon possessed dog. (I get that question a lot)

BTW, Cojo had his 1st action on the potty yesterday!!! Just in case I have any readers that are not totally grossed out yet.

Twenty-Ten

Right before the year's end, our neighbors, the Bryans, had their baby! Welcome Griffin! He is so sweet & I am loving having a wee one just one door over.

New Year's Day means 1/2 price day at Dairy Queen, yum!

Matt's new friend, facial hair & my new favorite accessory.

My High School tries another crack at the reunion. This one was better because it included free tickets to the Steelheads & a double date with the Starnes.

This was our pet for Christmas break, Meatball the hamster. He is pretty cute & the boys did not kill him, this was a real concern for me. He is back safe in his 3rd grade classroom now.

I know this is a gross invasion of privacy but...COLLIN IS ON A POTTY! Not using it for its designed purpose but ON IT!!! YIPEEE!

side note: Those are safety goggles on his head, as the 4th born, he is prepared for ANYTHING.

Merry Christmas to All

So much happens in the last couple of weeks of December. I am going to be a bit lazy & paint with really broad strokes. We had a very Merry Archuleta Christmas. Blessings to you & yours for 2010.

Parker's latest obsession

My Seester!

Kaleb, feeling the Christmas spirit.

Super cute SpongeBob pjs from Aunt Barb

Mornin'!

It's Christmas! I love this look on Collin's face, right after, he was super grouchy & refused to open any presents.

The Melting Pot on Christmas Eve.

Note to self; do not wear a silk dress while dining out with a 2 year old.

The whole family loved it.

The annual face gash in time for all Christmas photos. Does this happen to everybody's kids?

Peace on Earth & in the Minivan.

Sugar High!

No joke, the difference between these photos was less than a minute.

Parker is in Choir this year, they performed Christmas songs at the Nampa High Holiday Bazaar.

The most wonderful time of the year!

How to keep a man happy.

Matt was telling me a about a conversation he had with a co-worker yesterday. Matt was saying to him how blessed they both were. When the guy asked why, Matt said, "Because we have jobs and our wives are not crazy."

Well, there you have it ladies, glad I am doing my part.

Ramblings

So, I have been getting more than the usual "girl factor" at home. Kaleb loves all the shiny shoes that come with the Christmas season, so I have a personal stylist. Aden told me that he liked a new dress I bought, but that it would be better if it was pink. ( You know that's my kid!) And, Collin now knows the color pink and screams it out in public whenever he sees it. Quite obnoxious but I confess, I yell "PINK!" inwardly every time I see it too.

Matt & I attended an Ugly Sweater Party last week, Way too much fun at Staci's beautiful home. I got 2nd place but the monster that won really deserved it. Matt's sweater is the exact color of puke and his tie lights up. We are so good at looking so bad.

This is Collin prepping for the rodeo, poor Jake.

Who knew?

...if you wait long enough, a pumpkin will carve it's own face!

Before I packed it all away, this thankful turkey needed to be shared. And now, bring on Christmas!

A few traditions, Ellen gracing the windows with her talent and the boys each decorating a tree.

And the man who puts up with a ridiculous amount of Holiday drama from me, still managing a smile.

For all the Die-Hards

The whole sha-bang! An entire year captured on our digital camera. (Minus Thanksgiving pics that got erased, grr...)
