alice in wonderland tree
This tree is busy transforming our front yard into a pink petal-ed paradise. I am in heaven. It reminds my of the "paining the roses red" scene from Alice in Wonderland. I think it is called a Camellia tree.
We are seeing signs of spring pop up and trying to get the yard back into shape. When we moved in, the house had been empty awhile and the yard was serviced by a professional lawn care company. It was perfect! Matt and I are working on some realistic expectations for the yard in this season of life. The doing isn't as hard as the agreeing on a plan part. (Maybe this is true of all life?)

Blah. Backyard plans. Blah.
ReplyDeleteI love the tree...makes the front of your house so stinking cute!
And, perfect to have a little "CHEER UP!" bush right there as a daily reminder! At least, I would think it talks...right?
Totally. In fact I think she sings ;)
DeleteThat tree is amazing and I am totally jealous! Can't wait o see your projects unfold.
ReplyDeleteIs yard work easier to put off when you have an amazing view, like yours? :)
DeleteI love that tree too! Every day when I pass by your house I am shocked at how bright and beautiful it is. We bought one for our backyard last year, but it is still super little, can't wait until it gets to be as big as yours.
ReplyDeleteFun! I think there should be one in every yard :)
