ReplyDeleteWe have only had chickens a few years, so I may be all wet, but I think it might be difficult to get chicks this time of year. Although, I'll bet you can get older hens on craigslist anytime when you're ready(not as fun, but instant and a LOT less work)...
ReplyDeleteJayson & I wanted to add to our collection so we bought 3 more grown-up ladies that layed green and blue eggs; they were the coolest! So excited for you guys...chickens are the neatest; they feed you and they are just so interesting to watch!!!
