pay it forward

 *****UPDATE!*****
Congratulations to Hannah! She wins some iTunes lovin'. Thanks for letting me & this family blog put some good stuff out there, especially in the wake of recent events. Your gift card is on it's way, Hannah.

A sweet blog friend just gave me a free blog makeover. I love it! I thought the only appropriate response would be to pass on the generosity. So, not quite as cool as knowing all those HTML codes & whatnot, but I am often told that readers are loving my play list. I have a $15 itunes gift card so you can make some of those songs your own. All you have to do to win is leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite Funny Farm post. Easy enough, right? I will randomly select a winner sometime next week.

I want a cool blog toooooo!!! Your music does rock and that is a great post about paying it forward. I often think that we need a lil reminder about the good deeds people do for us and what we do for others.

  2. Your blog post Good Advice: Here's why going through my life I saw this when I needed to. As you the spring cleaning has been an ongoing process and I had my moments of oh yeah clearing out the clutter in your life does not just mean things, objects, or items it does mean people too. It struck a chord with me life is too short and you don't know what the next day will be like, at the same time those people who are negative and bring you down are not what you need in life.
You are a thoughtful lady to pay it forward. I love your blog update very cute! My life is better with you in it, now how come we didn't meet when Tomas saw you in Kindergarten and said all those kind words about you that are so true. I know I was closed off but boy are we making up for lost time. Thanks for this morning it's refreshing to chat and not just be in my stay at home mom-ness.

  3. My favorite post was the pictures of the Seattle food. It all just looked so tasty! I love catching up with your family even though I see one of the kids everyday, I sometimes miss the whole family.

  5. Hey there, Aubrey! I am not entering the giveaway, but I really wanted to comment on the blog-do-over...FANTASTIC!!! And the remark at the beginning just tops it all off: "There's no need to whisper, sweetie...everyone already knows we live in a nut house"

  7. Oh gosh- do I really need to pick just one? Not gonna do it.

On a funny note...most favorite to date was the one where you talked about parenting and how going to some movie and getting 4 refills of coke probably wasn't smart but you DO IT ANYWAY...and when WHATEVER WORKS.
On a sentimental note, I love it when you post pics of you and your sis and Dad when you were little- and always talk about how he let you be nothing but girl. Sounds like you have the sweetest memories of him.
And on an inspirational note, I loved the blog about the annual hotel stay-cation...it's posts like these that make me want to be more creative and give our kids incredible memories of a wonderful childhood.
And on a taste bud note- I'm REALLY looking forward to trying some of those cupcakes you gloat about when I get home!
