Matt & I have heard that the brain resets at age 3. That would explain why most early memories are around that age. I hope Collin remembers being this carefree & curious first. It will probably be more like me telling him he can't have something at the store or Dad putting him in a time out. My first memory is being in trouble at preschool. What are yours?

  2. My first memory was of me trying looking at books wishing I could read too. I remember the smell of those golden books too. Sometimes i smell old books just to get back to that place.

  4. My memories as a child are not so good, too bad our memories can't be reset after 18 years old:) I do remember trying to ride a cow once! I think you & Matt are amazing parents; you are self-aware in so many ways like how you are dealing with the boys, you take responsibility when things go wrong, you are trying to teach them balance and so much more and you both care so much about each one of them...they see that and will remember AND it will make the you-can't-have-that memories fade away!!!
