More fun on the 4th

We have been working to expand Collin's VERY limited vocabulary. I find it so ridiculous that this kid can say "sweep" and actually get the job done! Is he a chip off the old block or what? Matt would so much rather sweep and not talk. Collin decided in the middle of our festivities, that floor needed some love.

This was playing Simon Says with Auntie, check out her legs! Wow, I am SO jealous! Aden kept asking to be "Simer," too funny.

Fudge Face. With Auntie comes Oreos and Ice Cream Sandwiches.

Hey sweet cheeks!

4th of July haps...

Ohhh! Those lips!

Kaleb, reinacting how we fought and won our independence.

I love these 2 pics of Parker. One show my little man with a big grin and the other shows the mischief that lurks inside him. In the second, he looks so much to me like his Uncle Kelly. You think?

Wowee! Happy Birthday USA!

Here lies my remedy for not being all that revved up about our dear America's big day. Pop-its, a wussy mom's firework, star-shaped egg-salad sandwiches, & an ice cold glass of ice tea with lemon. Yup! That'll work!

Here lies the reason I was not feeling too patriotic, Matt had to work :( He has been keeping all of our civil liberties safe and in tact-until 2am! Uggh, I do not love swing shift. These were his few moments spent with his main man, Collin. Collin coincidentally, hates swing shift too. Thank goodness it was his last day of this! (Well, for this week anyway.)

Biting the fruit snacks, still in their package, and fun with the hose so Dad could sneak off to work.

Oh my! Sweetness...

I discovered Parker reading Goodnight Moon to Collin on the couch this morning. He followed this with a sort of hug he called a "Squish Bomb." Gasp! The sweetest gesture I have witnessed in a long while.

It's that time of year...

Wedding Season!

We're goin' to a Weddin'

Managed to get all these rugged manly men spruced up for my cousin Becky's wedding last Saturday. An epic moment, worthy of a photo shoot. Agree?

Happy Birthday Gracie!

I have mentioned our neighbors, the Bryans, before on the blog. Their daughter, Grace, turned 5 last week. Cake ,ice cream, and a whirl on the tire swing in their backyard. Too sweet.

Pizza Party!

Most of you know that I have recently become addicted to couponing. (Yes, it's a verb!) Through one of the coupon blogs I follow, I signed up to host a Dominoes House Party. They supplied the pizza and we just had to add a few friends. Cool, huh? These are the pics from the festivities, sadly, none of the 6 boxes of pizza we are still polishing off.

Jayson & Nicole, they came even though Dominoes made them sign an intense release form. :)

Party injury, that's how you know it was fun, right?

Grant & Bobbi, I first met Bobbi in the 7th grade!

Collin, taking advantage of the soda that only shows up at our house for parties.

Police VS. Fire DodgeBall

Menfolk playing soccer.

Matt would not even ease up on the little ones!

Good times, we will definitely try this again!

Why hello there, summer.

Enjoying Settlers Park in Meridian with cousins Kodee, Lilly, & Sophia. Two of my children actually got sunnburns. I thought we might make it through June without any, because of all this rain. Good times, even if they may pay later with sun cancer. Yikes! That Mom-Of-The-Year award just keeps slipping away.
