Say What?

I present to you, the school pictures of 2009. What happened here? Good thing my boys are handsome enough to withstand BAD photography. Retakes? I think I will pass.

Happy Halloween '09

Parker was Michael Jackson, his choice. He mastered a lot of MJ's moves to pull this one off.

Aden was Pikachu from Pokemon. No, you should not know what that is, unless you are under age 12. And! Get this, Aunt Lindsay put the coolest Roserade (another Pokemon character) costume together! Aden requested this and she totally nailed it!

Matt was Bret Michaels. This was so funny & well received. It was a last minute idea where Matt threw on a Hannah Montana wig & a bandana. I was a fairy, which involved body glitter & the tutu. (excellent ) Parker FREAKED OUT & refused to go out with me until I put on pants.

Collin was an insanely cute monkey.

Kaleb was Peyton Manning. Then he went to a birthday party midday & ruined his costume, so he threw on his Eagles jersey.

That's all folks!

Just in case...

You might know that tonight was the Pee-Wee Championship... under the lights at Columbia High School, non-the-less.

So you may also want to know that... The Eagles were victorious, 19-7! Great game Parker & Kaleb, Dad & I could not be prouder!

Fantastic

If it's still bad, paint it red.

I don't know who said this but I found it here. Blog awesomeness.

I Am Out Of Clever Titles

Our house in looking spooky for Halloween, and not just because there is a naked 2 year old in the curtains. Grandma Ellen painted the porch windows and all the treasures from Aunt Barb's farm, are in the wagon.

Kaleb has been dressing up & reviewing costume ideas. The police mask makes me so ridiculously happy.

I don't know where Kaleb gets it from? :)

The mascot mask came in the mail last week, huge hit at the playoff game on Sat. The Eagles are still undefeated, Pee Wee NFC champions, & have one more playoff this Sat. before the big championship game. Go Eagles!

I have learned that I am not gifted at sports photography. Although, this moment made it easy, Park & Kaleb were lined next to each other for the Kickoff. Not a sports photographer but I am one proud mama!

What? What are these strange creatures? Collin discovered Barbies on game day.

This was a couple weeks ago, celebrating Grandpa Ken's birthday. There have been many fun outings for lunch or ice cream after the games.

I Scream....

You scream, we all scream because we have brain freeze!

Just a little Sunday afternoon walk to Arctic Circle for (free!) Sundaes.

Okay, he looks 12 in this picture. (well, older than 2 for sure!)

Awesome bedhead.

Holding hands with my sweetie.

Uh-oh, Matt & I both have authority issues...conform?

Serious ice cream discussion.

Awwwww...

These are a few of my Favorite Things...

Love the Fall Season, it is the best!

Aunt Lindsay came out to watch her nephews play football, Saturday. She ended up entertaining the 2 Archuleta boys that were not on the football field. When she put on the Nacho Libre mask, I had to take a picture. Then she went home & wrote the most amazing blog entry...about me! (blush) AND she came back out Sunday, to wrangle all 4 boys while Matt & I had a date! I know! We are SO spoiled!

My Aunt Barb delivered the most amazing produce the other night, right to our house! We have been enjoying the fruits of her hard work every night at dinner time. She also invited us out to the farm to pick pumpkins & corn. It was a beautiful night, perfect Autumn weather. The boys had so much fun & chattered about going back, all the way home. Thank you Aunt Barb!

Then I saw this, it is exactly what I have been feeling:

“Our Creator would never have made such lovely days and given us the deep hearts to enjoy them, above and beyond all thought, unless we were meant to be immortal.”

Nathaniel Hawthorne
